From TV Producer to App Builder
I'm Jotham Hall. I spent 15 years producing reality TV. Over 100 shows for VH1, MTV, Food Network, Bravo, BET, Hallmark, NBC, and USA Network. Storytelling, deadlines, creative problem-solving. That was my world.
But the entire time, I had ideas for apps. Tools I wanted to exist. Products I could see clearly in my head. The problem? I couldn't code. And every time I tried to learn, I hit the same wall. Months of tutorials before I could build anything real.
Then I discovered vibe coding. I described what I wanted in plain English, and an AI built it. My first app took 2 hours. Not 2 months. Not 2 years. Two hours.
I shipped 14 apps in the next 12 months. If I can do it with zero code background and a TV producer's brain, you can do it.
Why I Built This Course
After I built my first app, I looked around. My friends had ideas. My family had ideas. Everyone I talked to had something they wished existed, but no way to build it.
The "solutions" out there? $15K bootcamps that take 6 months and still don't teach you to ship. YouTube rabbit holes that leave you more confused than when you started. Courses packed with filler to justify a price tag.
I wanted to create the resource I wish existed. No fluff, just the exact prompts and steps to go from idea to live app.
So I built Say It Build It using the same tools I teach inside the course. This entire platform is proof that the method works.
The Mission
Make app building accessible to everyone. No gatekeeping. No prerequisites. No "you need to learn JavaScript first."
The free lessons teach real skills, not watered-down theory. I believe everyone deserves to know they can build something real, today, with the ideas already in their head.
This is a new course and I'm building it in the open. Early students are welcome. Your feedback shapes what this becomes.
